On the back of Gear Live, you'll find a heart rate sensors and a set of five gold pogo pin. Sensor heart rate looks and works like you'd find in Gear 2 family, and operates in the same way - by detecting variations of the color of your skin when your heart beats. It works, though I can not prove any degree of accuracy. Your heart rate as read from the Gear Live will increase when you are active, and slow down when you do not. By using the thumb-on-the-wrist, seems to be pretty accurate most of the time, but every once in a while it would be a number that is not true. I would not rely on it if I was a heart patient, but may be enough for exercise.

OPERATING SYSTEM
Clocks made by Samsung's latest Smart Gear Live uses the Android operating system Wear. But this one device can use the Windows 95 operating system.
All can happen thanks to aDosBox, an Android app that serves as an emulator, in that it allows the OS x86 operating the ARM-based architectures. By using a small 1.6-inch screen, quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU, 512MB RAM and 4GB storage with greater power than a desktop PC 20 years ago.
But the screen resolution of the device looks a bit messed up, when using Windows 95, it can be understood considering the used memory is not big enough. However with Android smartwatch applications makes it look unique and attractive.
